Cruse Bereavement Care promote the well-being of bereaved people, and enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. We help anyone dealing with their loss regardless of age, race, religion, disability, gender or sexual preference. Trained Bereavement Volunteers provide a free service all over south Hampshire. As well as helping adults we also have a special service for children which continues to grow.

Being supported through the pain of bereavement has a positive impact on our clients' mental health which can also effect their physical health. The work we do encourages our clients to accept their circumstances such that they feel able to return to work or school. Coming to terms with their loss will also benefit their relationships; this is particularly important when an individual is struggling to manage their caring responsibilities because of the pain of bereavement.
