To support residents in the Crowthorne area affected by stroke or physical diability. To enable them to socilaise and visit places of interest.
Why the community needs usWe provide an opportunity for members to meet socially for companionship and a change of scene. Our aims are to provide a social outlet for stroke sufferers or disabled persons who may otherwise be housebound. We provide transport from their homes (including those in wheelchairs) to the hall or on trips out. Our meetings are held at the Morgan Centre in Wellington Road on the fourth Thursday of every month except August and December.
Our impact on the communityEvery other month we go on outings which include pub lunches and garden centre visits. Last year we had a very enjoyable trip to Bird World and the highlight of the year is usually a river boat trip from Henley.
