Cultivate 4 Life aims to support young people and adults of Bishop Auckland and surrounding areas with their current circumstances and needs, providing a holistic work & study environment with one to one support. To help in discovering and embracing their qualities & abilities providing footsteps to assist in fulfilling their personal goals. We are passionate about helping young people and adults make positive changes in their lives as these are their "footsteps to a brighter future".
Why the community needs usOffering a unique holistic working & study environment and giving one to one support which provides a vital work placement for local organisations to refer their clients into as they do not/ or have limited financial resources to pay for work placement provision essential to support their clients whilst unemployed through various circumstances eg. job centre plus, work programmes, supported housing, youth programmes and additional services.
Our impact on the communityOn a day to day basis we engage with a minimum of 10 people to give a working environment and we provide a daily nutritional meal and one to one support
We currently have many volunteer opportunities as above, additionally volunteer posts for support workers too, ideally with skills in either horticulture, woodwork and mentoring. We also have vacancies for a cook too.
