For more than 45 years we have provided high quality pre-school care and education to children in Danbury and the surrounding communities. We help children to become confident and independent in all aspects of development, being social, physical, emotional and intellectual. Providing a structured curriculum for each child incorporating the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Preschool provides a safe and gentle introduction to an educational setting, thus preparing them for school.

We offer realistically priced half-day and full-day sessions in our purpose-built preschool building. The main beneficiaries are the children who attend, but also the parents and families of those children as well as the schools which the children go on to attend. We also run a Before and After School/Holiday club from our premises, providing a fun and social atmosphere for children aged from 3 to 11.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection reports that "children are confident and express themselves well. Their self-esteem is actively promoted by staff praising and encouraging them to be kind and caring towards their friends. The well-planned and freely-chosen activities on offer to children enable them to develop good skills for the future". For children approaching primary school age, we tailor our activities accordingly, for example by helping children write their names or get changed for PE.
