We are a voluntary organisation with charitable status in an ex mining community based in an area of high deprivation. Our purpose is to tackle the root causes of deprivation with a range of educational, employment, social and leisure activities. We provide a wide range of activities for the inclusion of all and work towards an open door policy to encourage those faced with disadvantage to participate fully and be active within the community.
From the start, and during the pandemic we have been providing supportive services to local residents who are isolating, vulnerable elderly residents and families shielding or suffering financial difficulties.
Your donation will go towards continuing the work we do within Dawdon and the surrounding areas of Seaham.
