Drayton Park School PTA exists to support the children and parents of Drayton Park School. At the moment we are raising funds to support a major building project and provide new community art facilities and a refurbished school playground. We want to bring our historic lifeboat - the William Henry and Mary King - back to the playground for generations of children to come. Please help us raise the funds we need.
Why the community needs usDrayton Park School is a community school and the PTA is currently supporting the school to raise money for a new community art building and to help restore the playspace. The fantastic new facilities are under construction and on completion in February 2013 will be available to the public at certain times, so will not just benefit the school, or even primary school aged children but can potentially be enjoyed by people of all ages from across the community and other local groups and schools.
Our impact on the communityWe have started to build our new art and community building but we need to raise more funds to finish this building and to start the restoration of our Juniors' playground including the refurbishment and return of our locally famous life boat, the 'William Henry and Mary King'. Please help us meet our target - we really want to complete our project and bring our lifeboat 'home'. If we raise more than we need to finish our project we will spend any additional sum on improvements to the Playground
