DCA works with groups increasing social welfare,recreation & leisure opportunities,promoting health and life long learning a typical day can include quilting, dancing (sequence and ballroom) Tai Chi and Deaf Club, Religious Groups. The programme of activities are well advertised The Association has a website http:/www.durhamca.org.uk. The Association offers friendly, warm and reasonably priced rooms. Loop system is in both the Large and Small Hall. Stair Lift is situated at the front entrance.

The Association provides an exellent venue for the local community and also provides a good social venue for a diverse audience.

Results and outcomes are measured by usage determined through a user survey carried out at least annually.
