Erewash Sound is a Community radio station, run by local people for local people. Providing news, information and entertainment.We are a not-for-profit community interest company, run by a team of dedicated but trained volunteers, and a board of non-executive directors. We have proved to be sustainable for over 10 years. OFCOM have just rewed our 5yr licenceWe also provide media training to the community to help boost their employ ability and job prospects.

Erewash Sound helps local charities, community groups promote what they do and their events. We also provide quality training to members of the community. Our volunteers produce a dedicated radio service for Erewash 24 hour s per day 365 days of the year.

Our training at Erewash Sound boosts confidence and communication skills. This leads to better employ ability and life chances. Many of out media students have gone on to find paid media work and many others paid work elsewhere. WE also offer NCFE accredited courses.
