Local athlete and Personal Trainer James Purdy is heading up a fantastic new fundraising challenge for Escape Arts in partnership with Gloo Fitness, where he will be running 95 kilometres in an incredible 19 hours!

On Saturday 24th June, James will run 5 kilometres every hour on the hour to raise money for our community projects, starting from 4am and finishing at 11pm, an incredible goal that will be very physically demanding. We are so grateful for the support of James and Gloo Fitness who have chosen to support us with this challenge. The funds raised will provide support for our most vulnerable participants across our creative health programmes. You can support James in this challenge through donations on our Local Giving page or if you’re up for a challenge too, you can get involved on the day by completing a 5KM lap, either running with James or going at your own pace to help fundraising efforts. The whole Escape Arts family are wishing James lots of luck on Saturday!

Watch our video on YouTube to find out more and hear from James about the incredible challenge he has organised to support us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JF3DZkypVs
