Ethical Reading is a social enterprise run by volunteers that's dedicated to making our town a better place by encouraging more ethical behaviour. We're committed to helping organisations in Reading and their teams to do the right thing by each other, the wider community and the environment, and to thrive in the process.
It’s all about supporting people to take a compassionate, respectful and responsible approach when making decisions at every level, from the board room to everyday interactions.
We run various initiatives and projects under three programmes:
Business Ethics and Culture
Helping organisations go beyond compliance to achieve their social purpose, encouraging them to define their corporate values and translate them into action.
Workplace Wellbeing
Encouraging organisations to develop a sustainable approach to employee health and wellbeing based on a solid, values-based ethical culture.
Sustainability
Helping organisations do more to protect the planet and improve the local environment and inspire others to follow their lead.
