Exeter Food Action works with wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers and farmers, rescuing good, nutritious food, preventing it from going to waste, such as in landfill, by incineration or being used as animal food.

Before dispatching the food we've saved, we sort and store it in our warehouse where we run fridges, freezers and chillers. Then, with only one full-time and two part-time members of staff, and the support of over fifty amazing volunteers, we deliver it to over sixty-food banks and community groups in Exeter and across Devon, providing food that struggling families and individuals might otherwise be unable to afford.

Like many organisations, however, we're facing ever-rising demand and increased costs. Just keeping our fridges and freezers humming and paying our rent costs thousands of pounds a year. Frankly, it's a struggle, so please consider supporting us if you can.
