Fair Frome champions greater financial, educational, social and health equality for people living in Frome and the surrounding areas. We work alongside communities, families, individuals, volunteers, partner agencies and other stakeholders to create joined up, sustainable services, support innovation, raise awareness of the issues of poverty and increase participation across Frome.

Why the community needs us
Coronavirus is already placing a huge strain on our community, and those who are already struggling will be hit hardest.Fair Frome is here to help as many people as possible during this crisis, but it's having an impact on us too. Demand has already increased exponentially, while many of our volunteers are older and self-isolating and we have to keep everyone safe. For the moment, the Food Bank is our number one priority and we are working as hard as we can to ensure that this can keep going.

Our impact on the community
In order to divert resources to the food bank, where the need is greatest and in the interest of health and safety, we are suspending both the furniture bank and Food at Five until the Coronavirus threat is over. The housing enquiry and Aster tenants surgeries have also been put on hold for the forseeable future.
