The purpose of Hampshire Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local communities. Ferny Crofts is the main Activity Centre and Campsite for Hampshire Scouting. Our Mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment that offers young people quality opportunities for learning through fun, adventure, development and acheivement.

Encouraging young people to learning through outdoor adventure. Develop team skills and acheive personal goals, raising self esteem and confidence. We provide unique learning opportunities and enable young people to acheive their best, work with others and develop life skills. Ferny Crofts is where life long memories are created and young people leave with positive life changing experiences that encourage them to continue with scouting and helping in their local community.

Our aim is to ensure every young person who visits Ferny Crofts has a positive experience and achieves their best. This maybe climbing to the top of the tower, learning to cook on an open fire, learning to work with their peers to over come a challenge or simply enjoying a night under canvas or making new friends. We work with the young people to help them acheive their goals, develop confidence, increase self esteem and independance.
