Flamingo Chicks is a multi-award winning charity and inclusive community giving disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer, the opportunity to enjoy dance and explore movement. We also provide a peer support network for parents and carers, inter-generational volunteering, global outreach and advocacy.

Why our community needs us
Our dancers have a variety of needs including those who are visually impaired, those with Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and cancer. Flamingo Chicks is essential for both physical and emotional well-being. 

Our impact on the community
We see 5000 children through our classes each year! Parent feedback: 100% of parents & carers would recommend Flamingo Chicks to others / 96% of parents and carers said Flamingo chicks helped their child's co-ordination and balance / 100% said classes have improved their child's social development, confidence and overall happiness! We have an unprecedented demand for these classes with in excess of 100 applications for every 15 places!
