Focus4Hope was founded in 2016 by a group of friends wanting to make a difference in their local area. Since then, we have grown into a prominent non-profit and pillar of the community, having had the opportunity to help thousands of local vulnerable people. We provide the region with essential services, focusing primarily on supporting local homeless, elderly, and otherwise isolated/lonely individuals. We also fundraise, and organise a variety of events, including fortnightly outreach programs in West Yorkshire.
We gained charity status in November 2020 and set up as an emergency food bank during the pandemic. We are currently the only charity delivering food parcels in Calderdale and we do cover Kirklees also. We are currently supporting over 200 households each week with food parcels to help alleviate food poverty.
