Help Us Transform Our Local Playground!

Our playground is in urgent need of improvement, and we need your help to make it a safe, fun, and inclusive space for children of all ages. Right now, much of the equipment is old and worn out, parts of the playground are unsafe, and older children don’t have a proper place to play. But together, we can change that!

Thanks to generous grants from the Jubilee Fund (£38,000), UK Power Networks (£28,000) and the National Lottery (£20,000) we had raised £86,000.

This was enough to fund a new toddler play structure and a sensory area to make the space more accessible, as well as a multi-gym for older residents. But a key part of the project was still missing - a new play structure for older children.

With your amazing support and generosity at, and in aid of, the Fun Run in March 2025 we raised nearly £8,500 to go towards the playground. A truly fantastic amount! Plus we had a great afternoon of fun in the sun!

CityGate Church were inspired but the efforts of the community and generously gifted the park a further £10,000.

This has taken our grand total up to a staggering £104,000!!

We are working with the council and Idverde to make sure this money goes as far as possible but we need a little more to make sure we secure the silver option and we are still aiming for gold!
