Forest House Education Centre, in Radlett on the Kingsley Green hospital site, for children all over Hertfordshire with complex mental health issues. Forest House is a hospital school for 13 to 18 year old students, attached to the Forest House Adolescent Unit, a Tire 4 CAMHS in-patient facility. The centre provides education for the patients occupying the Adolescent Unit's beds, while additionally being the sole educator for a small number of 'day pupils'. Our pupil's conditions include self-harming, suicidal depression, acute anxiety and eating disorders. Nonetheless, the Education Centre aims to emulate the core characteristics of a mainstream school in a context that is nurturing, stimulating, and small enough to meet the individual needs of our students.
