HMRC XT 26457 (Charitable Company) The prime objectives of the Friends of Harlow Cricket Club are· the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket · To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals within the region of Harlow and surrounding areas in Essex, who have need of such facilities with the object of improving their conditions of life.· To advance in life and help young people through: (a) The provision of recreational activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life; (b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals
The Friends raises funds through events and raffles, receives grants and donations;Apply funds to carry out the work of the charity;Co-operates with and support other charities with similar purposesAround 150 children and young people (4-16 yo) and any adult who wishes to apply for bursary support or is a parent/carer/player involved with Harlow CC.
