Transforming Young Lives
Our programmes help disengaged young people develop essential life skills to improve their mental health and well-being so that they can thrive and reach their true potential in life.  Our unique experiences combined with proven coaching techniques literally "bring learning to life". Young people who are struggling in a traditional classroom environment  can experience the power of non verbal communication by working with horses; learn practical skills like digger driving, mechanics and off road driving, develop problem solving and team working strategies and practice their skills through community volunteering.

Our impact on the community
Each year more than 200 young people enter our programmes, struggling with low self esteem, little confidence and poor motivation. We have seen their confidence and self belief grow through our life skills programmes and volunteering activities and we have seen them thrive as they enter self employment or further education. With the right support and encouragement, these youngsters have turned their lives around to become active citizens of the future.

Our skills in the Community initiative connects the older and younger generations to share experience through mentoring. Our volunteer mentors help young people to gain skills and confidence by supporting our staff to run life skills courses and accompanying them on various community projects.
This is what a young person said about his experience with us -

"The Game Change Project gave me a chance to learn about things I was interested in. The experience gave me a direction in life with lots of laughs along the way. Without this opportunity I’m not sure where I would be in life by now”.
