We've provided a wide range of free activities for the young people in the Gospel Oak area of the London Borough of Camden for over two decades. We operate from the Dome Centre off Queen's Crescent and keep overheads very low by working in partnership with the local community centre.

NEWS

We are all set for our 2023 fundraising concert in St Martin Church NW5 on the 12th of November at 7:30pm. It will be a great evening with professional musicians, home-cooked snacks and a glass of wine or soft drinks in the interval. Suggested minimum donation of £20. Pay at the door or donate here and leave your name for the door list.

Watch out for employees of Corndel who are running, rowing and swimming the equivalent of the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise sponsporship funds for GOAL.

Why the community needs us

The Queen's Crescent area is dominated by overcrowded social housing where many young people grow up in households of very limited means, have low aspirations and few opportunities in life.   There are severe pressures on services to contain the many causes of social disadvantage and few opportunities for young people to socialise, develop interests and skills and make friends.

Our impact on the community
Operating out of the Dome Centre, our programme today includes football tournaments, gym sessions, use of an IT suite and music studio, crafting, life skills sessions, science workshops, inspirational speakers, day trips to interesting places and a chance to hang out and have fun with friends.

There's a special night for girls including female-only sports and, with local police volunteers, we're running an exciting programme to help break down barriers between the young people and the police.

Youth workers provide advice and guidance and run special initiatives for ‘hard to engage’ young people to help them into training or work.

Young people are at the heart of everything we do. They named the Dome, helped to design the facilities there and play a big part in the development of projects and in planning youth club sessions.
