To improve the quality of life for residents in North Cardiff who are isolated through age, infirmity or lack of practical support, particularly where their needs are not being met by other agencies or not available from family or friends. This is achieved through the delivery of services including, transport, shopping, companionship and general advice and guidance.
Why the community needs us
Increased individual involvement in local activities, greater integration, a feeling of belonging, stimulation and further development of wider community services and activities
Our impact on the community
The charity presently supports circa 200 clients who regularly take advantage of the services available. The ending of all financial support from the local Council, and the withdrawal of many services previously available from such sources, has contributed to a 30% increase in demand for our help over the last few years.
