Great Linford Scout Group provides a fantastic opportunity for children from all backgrounds to join in the Scouting experience. The balanced termly programmes offered to each age range allows young people to engage in interesting and exciting activities, such as rock-climbing and camping, whilst developing a range of life skills, awakening new interests and developing friendships.

The group caters for all young people aged 6 to 18. We have a close bond with Great Linford parish and promote pride in our community, whether going on parade at St Andrew's Church on Rememberance Day, carol singing at the local sheltered housing or running the bouncy castle at the parish fun day.

The group was first established with a Scout troop in 1982. Since then, it has grown to encompass an Explorer group, 2 Scout troops, 2 Cub packs and 2 Beaver groups. The 140 members currently come from as far afield as Bletchley and Walnut Tree, tempted by the fantastic programmes put together by our dedicated team of volunteer leaders and their able assistants.
