Greentop is a community arts education charity. Since 1995 it has worked with disadvantaged young people & adults using circus to transform lives & bring about positive social & individual change. Greentop Community Circus Cente Ltd aims to:provide youth and schools activity working inclusively and enabling those with potential to progress. Key social aims are to improve the health, education and employability of participants. Wider social benefits include community regeneration.

Crime - engaging young people who might be involved in antisocial behaviour in positive activities reduces crime. Employment - developing participants transferable employment skills including , creativity , communication skills helsp develop the local economy Economic development - producing events that create a positive image of the areas we work attracts business and stimulates the local economy. Health - encouraging people to do more physical activity reduces obesity and improves wellbeing

We work with over 20,000 children and young people every year, plus 15,000 adults. We provide training and employment for over 200 local artists and performers. Circus is used as a fun and accessible way to build confidence, social skills, increase health, fitness and mental wellbeing. We increase the number of people who can experience the performing arts by taking the arts into disadvantaged communities.
