Grow is about creating ways to bring people together as a part of the community. It doesn't matter what your age, ability or background is - we have nine nationalities involved from all parts of the community, some isolated, and some with differing health conditions. It's a great mix of people! We grow food, flowers and friendships, learning from each other while having a bit of craic at the same time. We currently have a waiting list, and with additional resources could work with more people.

We try to bring those who may be isolated, suffering with mental or physical health issues, or those who just want to spend a bit more time outdoors together, all while enriching the local area. "I had a stroke at 59 and was hardly able to leave the house, couldn't walk, was on medication, started as a participant, built up my strength mentally and physically through being with Grow and then went back to work. That was 5 years ago and I'm now a weekly volunteer with Grow" - Anne (Grow volunteer)
