The Halifax Boys' Brigade is the oldest Christian Uniformed Youth Activity and in Halifax that provides a wide range of fun and exciting activities on a weekly basis for boys and young men between the ages of 5 and 18.

The Boys' Brigade offers a lot to Young People, skills such as Leadership, Team Work, whilst at the same time promoting its members to lead positive lives in their local communities throughout Halifax and Calderdale. We turn boys into decent young men!

Since our founding in 1906 many Young Men have gained their Queens Badge due to being in the Boys' Brigade. Over the last 10 years over 100 young men have been awarded this award. The Award takes a lot of dedication and shows that the individual has a high level of commitment! It is when this continues, that we know that we are providing Halifax with a vital service that no other organisation can possibly provide.
