The big business sleepout

Sarah Wilson and her team of nurses are joining our Big Business Sleepout.

By joining our Big Business Sleepout on 24 March 2023, you'll be helping us to support the people who need us the most. Together, we can help more people break the cycle of homelessness.

Sleeping outdoors for one night can’t replicate what it’s like to experience homelessness but we hope it will give you an appreciation of the challenges some people face and time to reflect on what it means to sleep rough. The event is also an opportunity to find out more about our work and raise money to support our services.

We're inviting local businesses to take part and raise as much sponsorship as possible to support our work. We'll meet at 8pm for a short presentation about the work of Happy Days before heading out for the night. After finding a place to bed down, you’ll have plenty of time to get to know the other people who have been inspired to take part. There will be access to a toilet and local buskers will perform throughout the evening. The event will finish at 7am the following morning.
