Action against Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking & Exploitation

Haven of Light focuses on: Awareness Raising, Prevention and Survivor Support for Modern Slavery / Human Trafficking in North Wales. We are also supporting and developing a network of partners, working together to deal with the issues of sexual, labour and criminal exploitation, abuse, grooming and domestic servitude. Modern Slavery should not be allowed to happen in today's world and we are stepping up to make a difference!

Why the community needs us
Informing the community about the reality of exploitation! We are working towards the prevention of abuse, by teaching all members of our community about the issues and dangers - young people in schools, churches, community groups, etc. We are supporting local agencies in their work and collaborating with national anti-slavery organisations to encourage a UK wide response to this crime.

Our impact on the community
As we present information about the facts, we have informed and empowered many people to step up and support survivors / reach out to tell others about the risks.
