Our aim is to create and build a Devi Mandir and a Cultural centre where, through activities and resources, we can showcase and celebrate Hindu Arts and Culture. We need such a centre to support our future generation to embrace multicultural society, respect different lifestyles and make informed choices. The purpose of organising activities for our community is to promote good health, both physical and mental health to uplift the well-being of members of our community. Here, our community includes Milton Keynes and the neighbouring counties as well as people from further afield. We will continue to maintain our presence using funding from donations and offerings (as we do now), organising cultural events to raise money and hiring out the venue to other communities and individuals for the purpose of cultural activities/ personal events.
