We believe that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents and carers play the key role in giving their children a good start in life and helping them achieve their potential. We support parents in situations as diverse as domestic violence, poverty, post-natal illness, multiple births, social isolation and ill health. We provide confidential, non-judgemental and informal support which is tailored to the individual needs of the family.

In 2015 -2016 we supported 156 families, 68 through home visiting and 80 at family groups, 8 families received support from staff. This means a total of 315 children were supported. We received 155 new referrals and a total of 42 volunteers have been involved in delivering our service. For every £1 invested in Home-Start Horizons, £4.43 is created in social return.
