Our purpose is to provide a safe and supportive environment under "The Well Field Project" to those who need a little extra help to get involved in growing food and caring for animals. We also provide opportunities for local people to get involved on volunteer work days and various courses. We are passionate about our environment and want to pass on to others the principles of living simply and more sustainably, being more self sufficient while still being reliant on a shared community.

Why the community needs us
We are developing a community of people who are learning and growing together where everyone, regardless of their abilities or experience can feel involved and valued. We are also providing locally grown food for the surrounding community via our organic veg boxes. It's now commonly accepted that by working on the land and being surrounded by nature, a person's physical health and mental well being can be greatly improved. The Well Field Project is providing such a benefit.

Our impact on the community
Our market garden has been so productive this year that we have been able to provide veg boxes to the local community and take on more volunteers to help.
