To Preserve and Celebrate the achievements of the former Rolls-Royce Flight Test Centre at the old Hucknall airfield. We do this by way of exhibits and archives preserved in the only remaining WW2 Wing Hangars left in existence in the UK today. These were built during WW2 and played an essential part in the development of the famous Roll-Royce Merlin Engine.

To make people aware of the little known achievements of the Hucknall Flight Test Centre at Hucknall which includes a number of aviation world firsts, and to provide a STEM resource for local schools in the areas of science and engineering.
