Our work is focused on meeting the social, cultural, welfare and health needs of our Hindu community. We work towards building an integrated local society through activities that stimulate all and bridge the gap between our older and younger Hindu generations. We also reach out to develop partnerships with and encourage involvement from the wider community.
Why the community needs us
The services we provide contribute towards the well-being of all. Through education, cultural activities and programmes that include Indian Classical Dance, Bharat Natyam, Yoga, Henna painting, language school, youth activities, health and welfare surgeries, we continually strive towards social inclusion and interaction with the wider community - encouraging unity and diversity.
Our impact on the community
Through cultural education, young people have gained cultural knowledge as well as social skills such as self confidence, self esteem; elderly members are less isolated, the value of the family unit is better recognized and realized. The organization encourages individuals to participate in the organization and delivery of activities - thus allowing them to gain skills, knowledge and experience to enhance their employment and career prospects and their sense of belonging.
