Educating about and promoting human rights through story telling, exhibitions, training, music and arts events with youth and community groups who choose and share local histories of collective struggles for justice.

Why the community needs us

1. Empower participants to know they can effect change - individually and together. 2. Provide spaces for collaborative working and reflection in order to learn about the role of 'ordinary people' in non violent social justice work.3. Participants become part of a local collective and a national network of people who have hosted the travelling exhibition programme. We train young people and practitioners so our approach is embedded in their practice.

Our impact on the community

JtoJ aims to sow seeds, to leave something behind: the experiences people have had, the lessons learned, the powerful examples from the past, a deeper understanding of what makes action successful. As a result, we want people to feel inspired and able to get involved in action, whether at a very personal level or more widely in their community.
