Our purpose is to ease the personal and social cost of illness and untimely death, just a little, every day. We provide practical help, alleviate pain and rekindle possibility. Providing expert and 'Taylor-made' palliative and end of life care across Birmingham and the West Midlands, all of our staff are dedicated to making every moment matter for everyone we care for. Founded in 1910, we have been at the heart of local care for more than 100 years.
Why the community needs usWe ensure that each person receives 'Taylor-made' care - how, when and where they need it. That may be 24/7 expert care at our In-Patient Unit, it may be visiting our Heart of the Hospice for day hospice activities or specialist clinics, it may be providing care and support at people's bedsides in their own homes or it may be support from our Well-Being Team. Our Multi-Disciplinary Team can also ensure practical help with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, food and nutrition and medication.
Our impact on the communityToday more than 600 people and their families will receive the care they need from us - at their homes or at our hospice in Birmingham. We provide care and support for people across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
