JUMP are a registered Children's Charity who deliver a unique complementary service to families with children with life limiting and terminal illnesses, by arranging professional photography to capture everlasting memories, which are presented in beautiful personal Memory Books and Films. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to make memories with their families and friends that can be a great support during challenging times of illness and in remembering a child. We hold Family Memory Days for families walking a similar path to come together in a fun, inclusive environment and make special memories.
Why the community needs us
Many families are supporting and caring for a child who has a life limiting health condition and opportunities to have special memories captured can be limited. Bringing families together can provide great support and encouragement and can also avoid isolation and depression. We are also able to provide people in communities with the chance to volunteer their support to assist us with our fundraising activities and to help at special events that we hold for children and their families
Our impact on the community
Every year we provide support to up to 250 families through our memory photography service and Family Memory Days. The positive images that are captured by our photographers throughout these services can really raise the spirits of a poorly child and can also be very comforting to families in their journey of grief. Our Family Memory Days provide a safe space for our community to get together, create precious family memories.
