Situated amidst dense local authority housing in Gospel Oak, North London, the farm is a community project providing educational and recreational opportunities for all ages and abilities. Special emphasis is placed on working with children and young people and those with special needs.The farm is a local hub for community activity and offers a wide range of activities.
Why the community needs us
We offer all members of the community the opportunity to develop themselves through hands on volunteering and learning. We offer volunteering for all ages, low-cost horse-riding, school visits, arts and crafts, gardening and special one off annual events such as May Day and Apple Day! We have special programmes for people who need more support.
Our impact on the community
Being a member of the Farm community helps people improve their ability to work with others towards a shared goal. Through learning how to take care of animals and plants, we also learn how to care for each other.
