Why the community needs usThere are rising figures of domestic violence (DV), forced marriage and honour killings within the Asian community. There is no other local, culturally sensitive project that provides an understanding of the cultural barriers and stigma attached
Our impact on the communityReferrals are monitored through statistics and are part of local and national DV forums. A large percentage of clients move on to independent living, obtain basic English and numeracy skills, and feel empowered through our workshops
Due to sensitivity of service and enhanced checks we generally do not take volunteers for domestic abuse service
