Kingsway Church lies in the heart of Wombourne, which, according to Wikipedia, claims to be the largest village in England. Our building is a former squash club, sitting up the corner of the village car-park on High Street. All of the courts have been converted to upstairs and downstairs rooms, providing facilities for our many activities.
Our worship area was once two courts of the squash club, which were on the ground floor with an extension giving more room for worshipping and gatherings than we had upstairs. The bar and the kitchen have been taken out to expand what is now a children's area. The process of converting the two remaining courts to extend the worship was recently completed (2018) and gives a brighter and larger area with easier access than the upper room.
