COVID 19 has stopped a lot of things but it hasn't stopped the grass growing on our shinty fields.
Our Facilities Director, Finlay, (with the help of several other willing volunteers) has battled on through the period of Lockdown to maintain the pitches and keep them in good order.
However, mechanical failures on the old mower have hampered progress and despite best endeavours to repair it is now on "its last legs".
So help is needed to procure funding so that Finlay and his merry band of volunteers can purchase a new mower.
With the easing of restrictions the likelihood of putting our excellent new facility back into use have improved greatly.

The shinty pitch is used by two Senior teams, two Junior teams and two Ladies teams and we are fortunate to have Eilean Donan Castle as our sponsors.
Above photographs show the stunning location of our new pitch Rèaraig, the Senior team Premiership winners in 2017 and the recently established Ladies team who are going from strength to strength.
