We recognise that there are some very real needs and issues in our local communities that need addressing. They may be related to health or poverty, or to the challenges of growing up or growing old. Since 2004 Leeds Community Foundation has distributed £15 million in grants to a range of community projects across Leeds. We have been able to get new groups off the ground, as well as being able to provide ongoing revenue funding to support established organisations. Our smallest grant has been £100, and our largest £1m and each one has made a difference to the lives of local peopel.
