Our team aims to understand how blood cancer develops, better methods of treatment and ultimately improve the outcome and quality of life for all patients affected. Our expert scientists are leaders in their field, collaborating with centres in the UK, Canada, America, Australia and Europe to ensure that the work we fund has a global impact. All funds raised by the charity remain in Northern Ireland to support research, clinical trials and education.

An added bonus to the life saving work that the charity supports is that we are able to create opportunities for some of the countries most talented scientists.

Currently blood cancer is the fifth most common cancer in the UK by diagnosis and the third biggest cancer killer, these frightening statistics highlight that although research has come a long way the outcome for many blood cancer patients still remains very poor.
