Our main aim is to alleviate hardship and improve the quality of life for vulnerable people within our community. We achieve this by providing good quality second-hand furniture and household items at reasonable prices. As a Social Enterprise, 100% of funds raised are reinvested into the organisation. There are no shareholders or anyone else profiting from our organisation. We are working towards self-sufficiency through trading. Any donations made will help us reach out to more people in need.

By working in partnership with Social Services, Womens Refuges, Housing Associations and many other agencies we can help those who are struggling to help themselves. Over 25% of our turnover goes to supporting 'at risk' groups. We believe all people regardless of race, culture, age, disability, religion, gender or lifestyle should be respected and treated equally. Our service is driven by the needs of our clients and is delivered by individuals with a total commitment to community service.

6000 families and individuals helped in the last 6 years. In 2011 34% (£140k) of our turnover went to helping families in need, we diverted 284 tonnes of furniture & white goods from landfill and employed 22 staff. We were also blessed with 54 volunteers who gave us 12,400 hours of their time. We operate a voucher scheme and have provided £40,000 of them to local Social Services, CABs and rehousing charities, to enable those in need to choose the furniture and white goods they require.
