To maintain and develop a first class meeting place for the village. We support encourage and initiate weekly activities ranging from Pilates through childrens'ballet and line dancing through badminton and ballroom dancing to a "mother and toddlers" group.

By modernising the village hall we helped to provide a focal point for the local community with many and varied weekly activities on offer as well as a highly respected and popular monthly Jazz & Blues Club and other events.

Over the past two years we have extended the hall to include a bright welcoming reception area including a bar, a fully modernised fitted kitchen and toilets worthy of the 21st century. The hall has also been electrically upgraded, fully insulated with a new roof and we have replaced the windows with double-glazed units. This has been achieved at a cost of around £300,000 raised within the community, helped by generous grants from the Parish Council, the District Council and other NGO's.
