Our vision is that lives of the most vulnerable children & young people will be significantly enhanced by high quality opportunities to make music. Using music, we explore innovative approaches to support children & young people dealing with challenging circumstances. We train professional musicians to work as mentors with disadvantaged children and young people in the community, on high quality music making projects which build confidence and helps children & young people find their voice.

Marginalised children and young people are given opportunities to experience achievement. In doing so they build social capital and become better able to contribute to the local community. Furthermore our community events give children and young people the opportunity to showcase their work and challenge negative stereotypes. In doing so, they become positive role models for others.

Children & young people learn effective ways to express themselves through music. Participation in a music session builds confidence, raises self-esteem and impacts on aspirations. Children & young people gain transferable skills through project management, goal setting and delivering a finished product.
