We run workshops and make performance with people who identify with experiences of mental ill-health to engage with their creativity, improve confidence, self-esteem and build social skills and networks.
Why the community needs us
We have expertise in engaging people with mental illnesses in the arts. What makes us unique is our holistic approach to increasing access to participation in the arts. We work from micro to macro, creating spaces for individuals to grow their creativity and confidence whilst also recognising that these spaces are few and far between in the rest of the arts, so we are working to change the nature of the landscape of the arts and increase the opportunities for people with additional mental health needs within the arts as a whole. We therefore also work with arts organisations to improve mental health access in mainstream services and creative spaces.
