The Middle Eastern Cultural G. was created as a multi-faith social resource for local people of Middle Eastern origin. We aim to provide social and recreational activities for families, women and kids, who might otherwise feel isolated and alone. Members come from many nations and many different faiths, but all share a common regional and cultural origin. The group gathers several times per year for important cultural and religious celebrations.
Why the community needs us
We provide a place for people to socialise and to celebrate traditional and religious events. As well as celebrating their own personal events such as birthdays etc. We aim to keep the customs and values our culture holds.
Our impact on the community
We have testimonials from different members telling us how they were unhappy, lived for years isolated and now they have made good friends via the community. People are always keen to know about upcoming events showing that they are happy to be part of the community.
