Mercia Therapy Centre offers unique therapies and support for various conditions enhancing well-being and reducing isolation within the community.
Mercia Therapy Centre provides therapies and support for people with disabilities including multiple sclerosis, stroke, cancer, long covid and children with cerebral palsy and autism. We are a local, independent charity. The organisation aims to promote relief for people with disabilities, offering therapies unavailable from mainstream NHS.
Why the community needs us
There are no other facilities of this kind within a 30 mile radius of Coventry. Local people with disabilities can access treatments at our Centre at a highly subsidised rate, all under one roof in a welcoming environment. We offer not only therapies, but also support and friendship and our doors are open to all. Our main treatment, Oxygen Therapy, is proven to be beneficial for a wide range of conditions but is very rarely available on the NHS.
Our impact on the community
People using our centre find improvements in their symptoms and their general well-being. They also find friendship and support and reduced feelings of isolation.
