Engaging play in a magical & supported environment.
Based in North Solihull, we cater for children from all ages. Through play children & young people can experience risks, build friendships, socialise and direct their own play space. We have a Forest School and often have a supervised fire onsite where we cook meals for children. Children can paint, use hammer's build den's and generally have lots of fun outdoors.
Why the community needs us
Play is an important part of children & young people's development and learning and the opportunity to play freely, take risks and socialise amongst peers in a supported environment is crucial in the area and times that we operate in. Families with children access our playground as a community hub and are able to get support with a whole host of things.
Our impact on the community
We are seen within the community as a local hub. Children and families use us as a base for meeting and socialising. We support children, young people & families and are a hub for the local community. We support referrals to a wide range of agencies including food banks and have our own family resource bank helping with clothing and bedding. We also deliver parenting programmes in partnership with Barnardos, forest schools and support to CAMHS and Home Educated children.
Last year we had 27,000 pairs of feet pass through our gates and in the summer holiday we provided meals for 2900 children & young people.
