Merseyside Blind & Visually Impaired Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Club that caters for female and male players aged 8 years and over, who are registered blind or visually impaired and want to participate in football.
The team/s were created to provide a pathway for female and male blind footballers from across the North West (Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Westmorland and Cumberland) to achieve their full potential and possible reach the heights of representing England Blind & Partially Sighted Football Teams, just like our current player Roy Turnham, Azeem Amir, Rainbow Mbuangi and Liam Spinks.
We run weekly training sessions at Netherton Activity Centre, Glovers Lane, Netherton, L30 3TL on Saturday mornings between 10am-12pm.
The Adult Blind Team plays in the National Blind Football League and the Adult Visually Impaired Team plays in the National Partially Sighted Football League.
The Club is supported by dedicated coaches who are FA accredited, holding enhanced DBS clearance and have invaluable experience in blind football and with visual impaired people.
