We have been serving the local community within the Royal Borough of Kingston and the neighbouring boroughs since 1989. Our mission is primarily to provide relief of the elderly people from social isolation with the objective of improving their quality of life and promoting independence. There is a growing demand on our services, especially meeting the needs of the vulnerable amongst us.
Why the community needs us
Happy Elders AND Grand Parents = Contented Children = Sustained Families. Our main ethos is facilitating a diverse range of recreational activities to improve the overall health and well being of our mainly Elderly population (particularly but not exclusively of Asian).
Our impact on the community
Happy sustained Families creates healthy wholesome self supporting Communities. We are learning to repair relationships, build bridges and win hearts and minds ~ within and between communities.Our embedded ethos is promoting Equality, Human Rights: whilst learning to treat everyone with dignity and respect; especially as many of our Members are affected by trauma originated from their country of origin (poverty, conflict, Etc).
